Annabelle EUGENIA, a transdisciplinary artist, lives between Paris and Berlin. She began her studies in the French capital with a preparatory year for art schools at the Académie Charpentier, followed by a year at the Beaux-Arts de Brest, where she discovered her talent as a painter. She went on to study Industrial Design at Strate Collège Designers, graduating with a specialization in interactive systems and products. She also attended the Burg Gebiechenstein School of Art and Design in Halle, Germany.
Annabelle navigates between painting and industrial design, during her studies as a Designer, thanks to partnerships with companies, she collaborates on various innovation projects with art institutions such as Arte, Le Centre Georges Pompidou and IRI and with public companies such as RATP and private sector companies such as L'Oréal, Accenture, Legrand, Microsoft. She also studied as a student designer at ESCP Europe Paris in the Option E (entrepreneurship) program, supervised by EY (Ernst & Young), where she carried out various business creation, event and consulting projects in Paris and Shanghai. During this period, her identity as an artist shifted to a more classical practice, but she retained her sensitivity and strong attraction to the use and composition of bright colors. Her final-year project, Métrothérapie, involved the installation of light therapy and chromatherapy systems in subway cars, a concept designed to enhance passenger comfort on the Paris Metro. The project wins the 3rd Audience Price at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in Paris during the Observeur du Design 2012 exhibition. Métrothérapie was also selected as one of the pre-finalists for the Grands Prix de l'Innovation de la ville de PARIS in June 2012. Annabelle moved to Berlin in 2011 and became fascinated by the history and evolution of the German capital, whose exceptional urbanism and ambient creative energy captivated her. In 2013, she became an alternative tour guide and in 2016 set up Berlinade Tours, her guided tours company. She strolls the city's streets, which inks her in a constant dialogue with urban space through her activity as a guide and her attraction for observing the city via her street photography. The German capital, an open-air playground of artistic omnipresence and bubbling creativity, is gradually revealing its different artistic facets. Thus, in 2016, she spontaneously embarked on a reunion of shapes, colors and materials to let this vitality flow through her paintings. In 2022, she completed her work with a photo series project on the ephemeral graffitis layers on the former Berlin Wall. In 2024, she moved back to Paris, returning regularly to Berlin to work and recharge her batteries. GROUP EXHIBITION
